Food crisis kits contain enough food and grain to feed a family of 4-5 for one month. These food kits are a life line to families who have lost a loved one, a source of income, or experience ill health.

This gift provides the essentials for cooking including rice, dal, atta (flour), and cooking oil, to take financial pressure and stress of a family in crisis.

Our partners are well-established in the communities we work and our network of native village workers enable us to support families in crisis quickly and efficiantley.

Food kits are a new addition to our ethical gifts since meeting with families on the ground in 2023. The long-term effects of covid and irregular work oppertunities make food security ever more challenging in times of crisis.
